A Process for Producing Recycled Polyester Using Waste Polyester Materials

The present invention relates to a process for preparing recycled polyester from waste polyester materials, belonging to the technical field of polyester fiber processing. The specific process steps are as follows: Washing, drying and crushing waste polyester bottles, adding phenol and tetrachloromethane, and stirring to form Mixture A; adding ethylene glycol into Mixture A for alcoholysis, then incorporating maleic anhydride and polyethylene glycol, heating up, vacuumizing, heat-preserving and cooling to obtain Mixture B; heating PET, mixing with ethylene glycol solution, and performing melt extrusion and granulation by a twin-screw extruder to prepare Particles A for later use; blending Mixture B with Particles A at an elevated temperature, and conducting melt spinning through a spinning screw to produce recycled polyester.
