The invention discloses a preparation method and application of high-grafting-rate and low-crosslinking-degree POE-g-MAH. The steps are as follows: S1. Mix POE, MAH, antioxidant and initiator in a fixed ratio, add a quantitative chlorinated hydrocarbon, and keep the mixture at constant temperature and pressure in supercritical carbon dioxide for a certain period; S2. Perform melt grafting via a twin-screw extruder with reasonably set temperature zones. The extruded material is water-cooled and pelletized, then dried to obtain the final POE-g-MAH product. The product has a maximum grafting rate of 1.36% and a melt flow rate of 6.47 g/10min. It can significantly improve the compatibility between polyolefins and polar plastics, thereby enhancing the impact resistance of plastic polymers.
