The present invention discloses a lightweight PP modified material for automobile bumpers. The modified material comprises the following raw materials in parts by mass: 80–120 parts of resin raw material; 5–20 parts of filler; 10–25 parts of toughening agent; 0.5–4 parts of lubricant; 0.4–2 parts of antioxidant; 0.3–1.5 parts of crosslinking agent. The resin raw material is recycled PP T30S polypropylene resin regrind treated by pickling, and the filler is calcium carbonate with a particle size of 0.1–0.5 μm. The modified material is prepared by mixing the resin raw material with other additives in proportion and feeding the mixture into a twin-screw extruder for extrusion and pelletizing. The lightweight PP modified material for automobile bumpers is prepared from recycled polypropylene raw materials via a specific processing and modification process, featuring impact resistance, low-temperature resistance, chemical resistance, lightweight and recyclability. By using recycled polypropylene raw materials combined with a modified processing flow, the material ensures performance while effectively reducing costs, embodying the concept of green environmental protection.
