A preparation method of polyolefin used in nylon production

This invention pertains to the field of polyolefin preparation and specifically discloses a preparation method for polyolefin used in nylon production.

The method is characterized by the following steps:

S1: Mix polyolefin and styrene at a mass ratio of 100:1 to 3, ensuring uniform mixing;

S2: Add dicumyl peroxide, maleic anhydride, antioxidant 1010, and graphene oxide to the mixture from step S1 at 0.1 to 0.5%, 1 to 10%, 0.05 to 0.2%, and 0.02 to 0.15% of the polyolefin’s mass, respectively, and mix uniformly;

S3: Feed the mixture from step S2 into a twin-screw extruder, mix and react at a speed of 150 to 250 r/min for 90 seconds, and then extrude and pelletize.

The reaction temperature of the twin-screw extruder from the feed end to the discharge end comprises 12 temperature zones, specifically: 130°C, 150°C, 160°C, 160°C, 160°C, 160°C, 180°C, 200°C, 200°C, 200°C, 200°C, and 210°C.

The preparation method of this invention effectively inhibits the degradation of polyolefin and enhances the grafting rate of maleic anhydride.
