The present invention relates to the field of material technology, and discloses a rice husk ash silica-containing composite material and a preparation method thereof. In the present invention, rice husk ash silica, quaternized maleimide copolymer, epoxy phenylphosphorus oxide, polyethylene resin and maleic anhydride-grafted polyethylene are added into a twin-screw extruder for blending and extrusion to obtain the rice husk ash silica-containing composite material. During blending, hydroxyl and carboxyl groups in the quaternized maleimide copolymer undergo ring-opening reaction with epoxy groups in the epoxy phenylphosphorus oxide, and the resulting hydroxyl groups further react with anhydride groups in maleic anhydride-grafted polyethylene, forming a dense cross-linked network among the three components and improving the tensile properties of the material. Phosphorus and sulfur elements in the rice husk ash silica-containing composite material impart excellent flame retardancy, while abundant quaternary ammonium salt groups provide favorable antibacterial effects.
