The present invention discloses a SEBS-based foamed plastic elastomer and a preparation method thereof. The foamed plastic elastomer is prepared from the following components in parts by mass: 100 parts of SEBS elastomer; 100–200 parts of paraffin oil; 5–10 parts of ASA resin; 5–10 parts of ABS resin; 10–15 parts of PP resin; 15–25 parts of heavy calcium carbonate; 1–5 parts of expandable microspheres; 2–3 parts of PE wax; 1–2 parts of antioxidant; 1–2 parts of UV absorber. SEBS elastomer and paraffin oil are mixed first, followed by addition of other components for high-speed stirring and blending; the mixture is finally fed into a twin-screw extruder for extrusion molding. The SEBS-based foamed plastic elastomer prepared by the present invention has no formamide residue, is sulfur-free and odorless, with total volatile organic compounds lower than 4.2 mg/(m²·h), tensile strength of 0.9–1.4 MPa, elongation at break of 160–220%, surface hardness of 40A–55A, and average cell diameter of 60–100 μm.
