A Supercritical Foaming Process for Producing Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF)

The invention relates to the technical field of foaming production, and discloses a supercritical foaming production process of polyvinylidene fluoride, comprising the following steps: (a) Mix polyvinylidene fluoride with a nano-scale porous material with a particle size of 50–150 nm; (b) Extrude the mixed polyvinylidene fluoride material into a sheet using a twin-screw extruder, and conduct cross-linking treatment after extrusion; (c) Preheat the extruded sheet at 220℃ for 10–15 minutes to further enhance the cross-linking reaction. The introduction of nano-scale porous material into the polyvinylidene fluoride matrix significantly improves the diffusion rate of nitrogen in the material. The nano-scale porous material forms a uniform micro-channel network, enabling nitrogen to penetrate more uniformly into the material under high pressure. Such uniform nitrogen diffusion ensures more consistent bubble formation, effectively avoiding the problems of uneven bubble size and unstable structure in traditional processes.
