The present invention discloses a transparent antibacterial polypropylene material, a preparation method thereof, and a water purification filter bottle. In the present invention, an acrylate ionic crosslinking agent is subjected to a grafting reaction with a cycloolefin copolymer (COC) to obtain a graft-modified COC; then high-rigidity homopolymer polypropylene, styrene-ethylene-propylene-styrene (SEPS) block copolymer, graft-modified COC, tetrapod-like zinc oxide whiskers, antioxidant and lubricant are mixed at high speed and extruded through a twin-screw extruder to obtain the transparent antibacterial polypropylene material. The water purification filter bottle prepared from the material has excellent transparency. During friction welding of the product, when the shell and the cylinder are melted and bonded, decrosslinking and crosslinking of ionic bonds occur simultaneously, thereby improving the welding strength of the product and greatly enhancing the burst pressure performance of the material. The tetrapod-like zinc oxide whiskers therein not only play the role of a crosslinking agent, but also have excellent antibacterial properties, endowing the prepared water purification filter bottle with an outstanding antibacterial effect.
