An Integrated Shaft Seal for Powder Materials in Twin-Screw Extruders

The invention discloses an integrated powder shaft seal for a twin-screw extruder, relating to the technical field of rotary sealing. A rotating ring rotates synchronously with the twin-screw shafts; end covers are connected to the extruder housing, with one end cover corresponding to each outer side of the twin-screw shafts, and the end covers are fixed on the sides away from each other of the twin-screw shafts by connecting bolts with the extruder housing. A static ring group composed of multiple static rings is fixed on the side of the end cover close to the rotating ring, and the static ring group fits closely with the rotating ring and is rotationally connected therewith. The static ring group comprises a first static ring, a second static ring and a third static ring arranged sequentially from the atmospheric side to the powder side. End cover sealing rings and bolts are used for fixing between the end covers and the extruder housing. The invention facilitates installation of corresponding rotating rings and static rings in the gap through the arrangement of end covers, thereby realizing a shaft seal structure between the two shafts, enhancing the sealing effect through multi-layer static rings, and improving wear resistance and service life via the material selection of rotating rings and static rings.
