The present invention relates to the technical field of polyethylene modification, in particular to an electrochemically prepared graphene oxide/coumarin modified polyethylene plastic and a preparation method thereof. The mass ratio of graphene oxide/coumarin to polyethylene is 1:100 to 5:100. The preparation method comprises the following steps: intercalating hot-pressed graphite paper in a 37% sulfuric acid solution for 2–5 min at a current density of 5 mA/cm² to 30 mA/cm²; then placing the graphite paper in a coumarin ethanol/water solution for 10–20 min at a current density of 30 mA/cm² to 60 mA/cm², with a coumarin concentration of 1–5 g/100 mL; washing and drying the graphene oxide/coumarin, then mixing uniformly with polyethylene through a twin-screw extruder and pelletizing. The present invention has excellent migration resistance, mild reaction conditions, the characteristics of green, high efficiency and simple process, and can realize large-scale production.
