A High-Strength, High-Temperature-Resistant Nylon Fiber for Spinning Applications

The present invention provides a high-temperature resistant high-strength polyamide fiber for spinning. A polyamide resin is melted by a twin-screw extruder, spun from a spinneret, and subjected to drawing and cooling to obtain the polyamide fiber. The polymerized monomers of the polyamide resin include dibasic acid and diamine, the molar ratio of aromatic dibasic acid in the dibasic acid is not less than 98%, the diamine includes at least two diamines with 2–6 carbon atoms, and the molar ratio of any single diamine to the total diamine does not exceed 80%. The polyamide fiber has better temperature resistance and strength properties than polyamide 6 and polyamide 66 fibers, and can be melt-spun.
