A Production Process for Simultaneously Preparing Degradable Materials with Multiple Molecular Weight Gradients

The present invention relates to the field of polymer material preparation, specifically concerning a production process for simultaneously preparing multiple molecular weight gradient biodegradable materials. The process comprises the following steps: pre-polymerization; polycondensation-viscosity enhancement, or cracking-refining-polymerization; pelletization; solid-state polymerization. By varying the process steps, the invention produces materials with different molecular weight gradients: low-to-medium molecular weight biodegradable materials via direct polycondensation, and high molecular weight biodegradable materials via ring-opening polymerization. The beneficial effect of the present invention lies in providing a production process capable of simultaneously obtaining biodegradable materials with multiple molecular weight gradients, significantly reducing fixed costs during product preparation. Furthermore, the invention utilizes a twin-screw extruder to achieve self-reinforced production of high molecular weight PGA from medium-low molecular weight PGA, enabling the production of four product types: lactide, medium-low molecular weight PGA, high molecular weight PGA, and self-reinforced PGA.
